Kalau bisa dipersulit kenapa harus dipermudah..??

Siapa tidak kenal ungkapan paling populer ini? Simak bagaimana penerapannya secara positif bagi pengembangan diri.

Jika Anda pernah berurusan dengan birokrasi swasta maupun pemerintah di Republik ini, Anda pasti tidak asing dengan ungkapan i atas. Itulah ungkapan yang menggambarkan buruknya sikap mental para birokrat yang seharusnya punya kredo melayani publik, namun sebaliknya justru mereka yang akhirnya harus dilayani publik. Tak heran jika kita mengurus perizinan atau proses tertentu, maka dengan segala kelihaiannya para birokrat itu akan mempersulitnya. Akibatnya urusan jadi bertele-tele dan benar-benar menyita waktu. Jika kita takluk, maka mau tidak mau harus merelakan sejumlah uang untuk mempercepat urusan tersebut. Kebiasaan ini pula yang melestarikan mental korupsi di masyarakat kita. Jadi, ungkapan kalau bisa dipersulit mengapa dipermudah benar-benar menjadi penyakit mental yang luar biasa mengesalkan dan merugikan.

Kalau demikian adanya, bagaimana mungkin ungkapan tentang penyakit mental itu bisa diaplikasikan secara positif? Bukankah jika semakin banyak orang melakukannya, maka akan semakin runyam pula situasi yang kita hadapi?

Mari sejenak membayangkan, misalnya saja Anda yang cenderung mudah sekali kehilangan kepercayaan diri. Akibatnya, segala hal yang Anda lakukan jadi buruk hasilnya. Nah, seandainya saja ada formula yang membuat Anda bisa ‘mempersulit’ munculnya rasa kurang percaya diri tersebut, kira-kira akankah pekerjaan yang Anda lakukan bisa memberi hasil lebih baik? Kemungkinan besar kinerja Anda akan lebih bagus hasilnya jika Anda bisa melakukannya dengan penuh percaya diri. Jadi titik perhatiannya adalah mempersulit munculnya rasa kurang percaya diri.

Ya, sesederhana itulah prinsipnya. Persulit munculnya hal-hal atau kebiasaan negatif. Dengan strategi itu, kemungkinan Anda bisa lebih matang dan efektif sebagai pribadi. The TRP activities focus on integrated community recovery and preparedness interventions in tsunami affected countries in Asia and East Africa in collaboration with Red Cross and non-Red Cross partners. Hygiene Promoter
(Aceh – Banda Aceh)

Responsibilities:

  • Work towards the achievement of American Red Cross goals in the country/region of operation through effective managerial, lateral relations and teamwork.
  • Ensure understanding of roles, responsibilities, lateral relationships and accountabilities
  • Perform other work related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.
  • Ensures good information flow among all American Red Cross programs.
  • Conduct field assessment on hygiene practices of the community at initial stage of project and for monitoring purposes through relevant methods
  • Working closely in particular with engineering colleagues to strengthen, hygiene promotion component of American Red Cross water and sanitation interventions ensuring that the approaches and methodologies used are targeted in a timely and appropriate way to take account of the priority of the health risks and the varied needs of men, women and children in the affected communities
  • Ensure that where possible an empowering approach to working with communities is employed rather than an approach that relies solely on message based methodologies. This will be based on the principle of entitlements, with promotional work involving awareness of beneficiary rights regarding aid
  • Take into account at all times American Red Cross gender policy and ensure as much as possible that representatives of all sectors of the community are consulted and involved in program planning and delivery
  • Take lead in PHAST training and managing small teams of volunteers and VWSC. This may involve planning work schedules, field based mentoring and supervision and carrying out performance appraisals
  • Promote and facilitate the community to form VWSC, formulate VWS agreement and translate it into action plan
  • Prepare with VWSC setting up simple management of fund, water facilities maintenance and active campaign for hygiene practices through using local resources
  • Participate in PHAST training and other relevant training required for field implementation
  • Active in contributing ideas and initiative to improve hygiene promotion techniques
  • Present regular written reports on progress against objectives as required by the line manager and ensure that a final report is completed on completion of the contract.
  • Depending on the situation, the post holder may be assigned to perform other tasks as requested by the line manager. This job description may change depending on the needs of the program

Derajat kesehatan dan keselamatan yang tinggi di tempat kerja merupakan hak pekerja yang wajib dipenuhi oleh perusahaan disamping hak-hak normatif lainnya. Perusahaan hendaknya sadar dan mengerti bahwa pekerja bukanlah sebuah sumber daya yang terus-menerus dimanfaatkan melainkan sebagai makhluk sosial yang harus dijaga dan diperhatikan mengingat banyaknya faktor dan resiko bahaya yang ada di tempat kerja.

Selain perusahaan, pemerintah pun turut bertanggungjawab untuk melindungi kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah dengan mengeluarkan peraturan perundang-undangan yang yang mengatur tentang K3 yaitu UU No.1 tahun 1970 tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), Permenaker No.05/Men/1996 tentang Sistem Manajemen Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (SMK3).
